Ingredients
  • 1 stalk green onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 pint tofu
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 salted belt fish
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 daikon
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 5 dried anchovies
  • 5 tbsp soybean paste
  • 2.5 cups water
  • optional: kimchi, pickles, rice
Instructions
  1. The following ingredients go into the large pot

  2. Chop the green onion into 0.5” chops

  3. Chop one cup of yellow onion 

  4. Slice tofu into cubes 

  5. Chop zucchini into cubes

  6. Chop green chili 

  7. Chop cucumber

  8. Peel daikon and cut into halves. Cut the halves into smaller pieces, you will need only a handful of it

  9. Chop garlic, add anchovies

  10. Add tablespoon of soybean paste, add water

  11. Heat pot to boiling, decrease the heat and simmer for 20 minutes

  12. The following is the fish part: use a well heated pan, add oil and then fry each side of the fish for 4 minutes 

  13. The next is the egg part: remove the fish from the pan, crack eggs and cook for 5 minutes on medium

  14. At this point the cooking is over

Serving suggestion: separate plates for fish & egg, bowl of stew, bowl of rice, pickles and kimchi.
