The main trick is to choose quality steak. Breakfast steaks are thinner than other types. I recommend choosing a stake around 5 oz. Grass fed beef is the best because it contains less calories and fat than grain fed beef. Rib eye steak is a good option, but you can choose a special think steak to cook your breakfast even faster.
Easy to make is something I need in the morning. I don’t like spending long hours in the kitchen to prepare breakfast on Sunday morning. I prefer to surf Internet or do something useful. I need an easy, filling recipe that isn’t oatmeal or bacon. I like having something that I can serve to friends who decide to stay overnight in our house. This recipe is a great dish for any occasion.

Oatmeal, eggs and bacon are so common nowadays that we barely think of steak as a breakfast meal. However, it is high in protein and contains vitamins and minerals that our bodies need. Start a day like that and you will have enough energy to stay active for many hours. If you eat steak in the morning, you're less likely to crave for something unhealthy in the evening. It's cooked in 10 minutes and it's really soft and delicious. You can serve it with eggs r any side dish that you're ready to eat in the morning.
- ¼ inch thick thin-sliced strip steaks
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 10 ml fresh ground black pepper
- 8 ml olive oil
- 5 sliced mushrooms
Take a pan and heat the oil over medium heat. Add mushrooms and sauté for 5 minutes. The mushrooms will become tender.
Rub the steaks with pepper and garlic, make sure each part has a bit of everything. Push the mushrooms on one side of the pan, place the steaks on a free pan. You can place the mushrooms in another bowl, but they will be less tender. Cook the steak for 2 minutes, flip to the other side and cook for 2 minutes more. Serve immediately. Refrigerate in an airtight container for 3 days.
