  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 piece yellow onion
  • 2 piece cloves garlic
  • 1.5 cups rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 pound large shrimp
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan (rice)
  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 3 tbsp fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Take pressure cooker, put butter into it and heat over medium until it is melt. 

  2. Add onion and garlic to this cooker and heat until it becomes soft, and this will take you about 4 minutes. 

  3. Add rice and cook the onion, stirring thoroughly during a minute.

  4. In the long run pour 3 cups of broth into a cooker and sprinkle with salt. Cover with a lid.

  5. Now increase the heat and add the rice, let it boil, then reduce the heat and cook for 10 minutes until the rice is ready, meaning it becomes tender.

  6. Remove from heat and stir in a cup of broth you still have, add shrimp and cook over medium heat during about 5 minutes.

  7. To finish, place parmesan, herbs, and remaining tablespoon of butter to the cooker.

  8. Now you can serve it. If you want to decorate the dish, use herbs.
