They are easy to be cooked but there are some secrets, which help to escape dry and rubbery texture. The scrambled eggs should be creamy and soft. There is a particular skill of making them silky – you should not leave them on a frying pan for too long. And another thing is a particular creamy ingredient.

There are several styles of this dish. For example, in USA they are scooped in the center of the frying pan when the mass starts setting. Thus, you are able to make it curd. In England they like fine product that is why during cooking they stir eggs very carefully and at the same time thoroughly. While French scrambled eggs are made in a special cooker, which continues mixing them during heating. So, the eggs do not brown at all and are very creamy.

  • 6 eggs
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 4 corn tortillas
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt
  • cheddar cheese
  • salsa


  1. Take the eggs and crack them right into a prepared beforehand bowl.

  2. Add milk and salt. 

  3. Now you should beat the mix properly using a whisk or a simple fork. When the mixture becomes smooth, you should topit. 

  4. You’d better choose a skillet, but a common frying pan is also good. Add two tablespoon of oil into it and heat on medium level.

  5. Take tortilla, cut it into triangles 1" in size and add them to the skillet. Sprinkle with salt a little bit.

  6. In about two minutes of cooking the tortillas add the eggs mixture, add salt if you think, it is needed.

  7. Start folding thoroughly all those products using a spatula. Do it for approximately 30 seconds, then wait and repeat until eggs set and become scrambled. It is important not to overcook.

  8. Now the dish is ready. Remove the frying pan from the heat and put the scrambled eggs with tortilla on a plate.

  9. Take cheddar cheese and shred it. Sprinkle the eggs with it. If you want it to melt quickly, make it in the frying pan and cover it with a lid for several minutes (2-3).

  10. It is ready to be served and you’d better do it with salsa – finely chopped vegetables.
