This is a super easy dill dip to prepare for any event and especially TV nights. This recipe tastes amazing if you make the dip several hours in advance. With very simple ingredients and no prep time, it is ready to be eaten in a flash.

  • 1.5 cups sour cream
  • 2 tbsp dried minced onion
  • 2/3 cup mayo
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • 2 tbsp dried dill weed


  1. Take a sauce bowl and combine everything, Mix the ingredients, cover and let it sit in a fridge for 30 minutes. The flavors will blend. Serve with vegetables, chips or bread.

Recipe Notes

As you can see, we use dry herbs. We did that intentionally so that everyone can whip it up. No need to go grocery shopping. However, you can switch them to fresh spices, just take twice more than dry ones. For example, take 4 tablespoons of parsley flakes, etc. And you will need a bigger bowl to mix.

We think that chips are the best option for this dip, but you can take fresh vegetables and bread. Dipping options depend on your guests' preferences. You can offer different experience every day!
