- 675 ml hash browns
- 16 oz sausage
- 6 bitten eggs
- 225 ml cheddar cheese
- 1 package biscuit dough
- 60 ml butter
Preheat the oven on a grate or campfire. Place sausages and oil in the oven and cook until golden. Stir them every minute. Remove the sausages from the oven. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Add hash browns to the mixture, wait until they get brown on the side and flip. Add cooked sausages on the hash browns.
Pour eggs on the sausages, they will penetrate all layers and help the mixture stick together better. Add cheese. Spoon biscuit around the eggs until covered.
Place the lid on top of the oven, it should fit tightly. Place the oven on the campfire over the coals. Add more coals on the top of the lid.
Rotate the oven every 4 minutes, make sure ash spills don't get into the mixture. The biscuit should be brown and crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside. Slice as desired before serving. Serve immediately.
