- 1 pound lean beef
- 1 package hash browns
- 1/2 cup onion
- 2 cups mushrooms
- 1 tbsp oil
- 4 oz Cheddar Cheese
- 2 cans tomatoes (diced)
- 1 tsp salt
Prepare the components: chop onion, slice mushrooms, and ground beef.
Take nonstick skillet, add a tablespoon of vegetable oil into it and put in over the heat.
Place beef and onion into it making them brown.
Add hash browns and mushrooms, making a kind of pancake, spreading the mixture and pressing it down lightly using a spatula.
Cook it during about 6 minutes. The hash browns should become golden brown.
Sprinkle with vegetable oil.
Turn the potatoes pancake over using a spatula.
Continue cooking during 8 minutes achieving the golden crust. But inside the mixture should be well done and tender. If you feel it is not enough cooked, you can turn again.
