These pancakes and so fluffy and delicious, you can get creative with forms and shapes and make new animals. Everything comes together in 20 minutes. Creating the most adorable pancake doesn’t require any skills. Fruits and marshmallows are used to bring bunnies to life. You can serve them with maple syrup or chocolate sauce.

You can make your Easter morning even more special by cooking these cute bunny pancakes. They are very delicious and perfect to start the day. You can also serve them for a themed party, children love eating them.

  • 15 ml melted butter
  • 250 ml buttermilk
  • 15 ml vanilla
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 250 ml all-purpose flour
  • 15 ml sugar
  • 15 ml baking powder
  • 8 ml baking soda
  • 4 ml salt
  • 125 ml sprinkles

For the topping:

  • 1 big banana, sliced
  • 20 blueberries
  • 6 raspberries
  • 8 strawberries
  • 10 marshmallows
  • 30 ml maple syrup


  1. Take a big bowl, whisk together eggs, buttermilk, butter and vanilla. Take another bowl, whisk together baking powder, soda, salt, sugar and flour. Add other ingredients and stir until everything is nicely combined. Add the sprinkles.

  2. Batter should rest for 8 minutes. You should take the pan and put it on a medium heat. When the pan is hot. Spray it with oil. Take cookie scoop and put two pancakes into the pan. Then take a spatula and add a bit of batter into the shape of bunny years. Try to form identical shapes.

  3. When the pancakes are set, flip them on the other side. It usually takes 2 minutes to cook. Bunny years cook even faster, 1 minute is enough. Let it cook for 2 minutes. Pancakes should become browned. Don't overcook them. Keep pancakes on a warm plait until you make other pancakes. Every time you put new pancakes on a plate sprinkle it with oil. If a pancake sticks to the pan, you'll have to start all over again.

  4. When all pancakes are done, place the biggest one on a plate and two bunny ears on the top to form a head. Place small bananas as eyes, put little blueberries in the middle of bananas. A raspberry is a nose and marshmallows are two tine teeth. You can shape the strawberries into a bowtie. Get creative hear and make different facial expressions. Serve warm with maple syrup or your favorite sauce.

Recipe Notes

Have lots of fun with these pancakes! Mix chocolate chips or other berries into a batter and your bunny will have polka dots. You can create a suntanned tail, too.

You can also add canned pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices to the batter to make a perfect autumn breakfast. You can make the bunny even cutter with strawberry heart, Try to get berries that have pointed bottoms and rounded tops, use a paring knife to cut out cores and leaves. Slice and half and put on your pancakes.
