Everyone loves French toast for its classic and easy recipe. The best bread for this recipe is fresh baguette. We’re sure this is going to be one of the best toasts you’ve ever had, thanks to the sweet sauce. It is very simple but makes a classic toast much more interesting.
The toast is soft inside and crispy outside. The vanilla and cinnamon create new layers of flavor, and you can use different sugars to make it much sweeter. Children can’t stop eating these toasts, but adults love them, too.
This recipe requires fresh bred but if yours is older, you need to prepare more coating or take fewer bread slices. We didn’t fry the toast in butter to keep the fat and calories lower, but if you love the taste of melted butter, go for it. Or you can take more maple syrup, which tastes amazing.
You can freeze extra slices and treat them like waffles, which is perfect for a hectic day. You can also make smaller versions or create mini donuts. When you eat one, it leads to three and then to six. Take the frozen slices out of the freezer, put them into a toaster, and breakfast for the whole family is on your table.
