You can create a family dinner in no time at all. Customize it with your favorite spices and cook in the oven, camping fire or grill. Options are endless and you can enjoy a very quick cleanup.

Dinner can’t get any easier with this foil chicken hobo. It’s perfect when your family is hungry and you’re tired or can’t think of something unique. You just put everything in the oven and use the time for yourself.

You just mix the veggies, chicken and spices in a boil, place them in separate foil packets and bake. Can it be any easier? Even if you’re an amateur chef, you will enjoy very tender chicken and vegetables that melt in your mouth. My family loves this chicken hobo recipe and children are having fun when they’re getting their foil pockets and open them.

Chicken hobo recipe

Chicken hobo is really easy to make: all you need to do is to put everything in aluminum foil and bake until the chicken is tender. Clean up is very easy since the mess is in the foil and you can even skip the place when you serve the hobo up. It's very flavorful and delicious.

  • 1 package chicken flavored stuffing
  • 285 ml water
  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless
  • 450 ml broccoli
  • 225 ml cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 60 ml ranch dressing


  1. Preheat the oven to 400F. Take aluminum foil and spray it with oil. Set aside. Take a bowl and mix together stuffing and water. Spoon ¼ of the mixture onto foil and place chicken breast on top. Add ½ cup broccoli. Add cheese and bacon and drizzle with ranch dressing.

  2. Fold the sides of the foil up to form individual packets. Place the foil onto a baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes. The cooking time depends on the chicken. Place the chicken on the counter and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
