As it happens, people like pies and especially they prefer juicy and chicken pies – the delicious filling is healthy added to everything else. There are fats, protein in this meal. And if you mix the chicken with vegetables, you will get protein and vitamin supplement to your everyday ration.

We offer a quick recipe of a hearty meal. Though, you are expected to apply yourself cooking this dish but the result is worth the effort. Crescent Rolls ring with a yummy chicken filling will steal a way to heart of the members of your family or your guests.

  • 10 oz frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 cup shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 condensed cream of chicken soup (can 10.75 oz)
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls (can of 8 oz)


  1. Place an oven rack in a center position in the oven and preheat it to 375°F.

  2. Take a dish, put frozen vegetables in it and cook it in microwave following the instruction of a producer.

  3. Let it cool for a couple of minutes.

  4. Take a bowl and put the prepared vegetables, chicken, soup, milk, salt and pepper into it. Stir the ingredients carefully to make them evenly combined. Set the bowl aside.

  5. Take a sheet of the dough, cut it into 4 rectangles and put them in circle on a large cookie sheet without greasing the surface. Make a cross out of those fragments with corners touching each other. Thus you get a square hole in the center. Now take another sheet, cut it into 4 rectangles and place them in the same manner but in such a way to close the spare space between the beams of the former cross. You should overlap those crosses, do you understand? Now in the center you have a kind of round hole. It looks like a daisy with rectangular petals.

  6. Take your chicken mixture and put it around the center of dough making a ring leave the place up to the edges. Use a spoon for this operation.

  7. Now just close this construction with the dough, pulling overhanging parts of the rectangles from outer edge towards center. The filling must be inside of that roll. Press the dough to fix it. You’ve got a ring.

  8. Bake a ring during 20 minutes. It must become golden brown. 

  9. Remove from the heat and put the cooked pastry on a serving plate.
