Decided to go heavy on bananas – then this smoothie is right for you! It is full of good nutrition, protein and fiber, has creamy and soft texture and provides a good kickstart for the day. Make sure to use only ripe or better even overripe bananas and your favorite yogurt blend. I usually recommend using Greek one.

This smoothie is super duper easy to fix in less than two minutes, having either fresh or frozen bananas, organic kefir or any yogurt ay home and a bit of inspiration. It is basically a Bible for the smoothie lovers, starting with bananas you could never go wrong with your morning drink. It does not require any additional sweeteners but you could always temp yourself by adding some low caloric ice cream into the blender as well. It has been proven that bananas help to fight hangover, so if you happen to overindulge yourself the previous night drink it up instead of medicine and you’d feel refreshed immediately.

Ingredients

  • 4 ice cubes
  • 2 oz. banana
  • 4 oz. 1% milk

Instructions

  1. Almond milk could be used instead of 1% milk.

  2. Add Splenda sweetener or low calorie ice cream to further improve the taste.

  3. Put all ingredients into the bowl, blend till smooth.
