Apple pastry

Surprise your loved ones on a Valentine’s day with this easy to make but absolutely mouth-watering apple pastry treat. I always keep of stock of apples at home, preferably red delicious kind as it best fits my family tastes and also great for cooking and baking and even for smoothie making.

You can try other brands too as the final taste of pastry depends on it, for example if you need extra sweetness try gala or fuji, and if you need a more tart and slightly sour variety opt for granny smith popular among pie-bakers for its distinguishably crisp and tart taste. Experiment with different brands and don’t worry if you have extra left – they are good for salads and midday healthy snacks too!
