Apple banana orange smoothie

Do you like smoothie? I do like! This simple dish is my breakfast, lunch and sometimes it even fills in my pause for a snack during a day. Only in this way I can consume a lot of various fruits and vegies easily. Because you know those hush mornings when time is always tough and you usually eat on the run. That is not a healthy practice but there is nothing to do with it. The press of modern life makes us be fast-moving.

At the same time, you just cannot allow refusing breakfast if you want to look and feel well. But have you tried to note the time when you eat an apple? That is not so short as you expect.

And here we’ve got a blender – the magic kitchen appliance which is helpful in many situations. It can crush almost any foods in puree or liquid in a blink of an eye. So one apple, banana, strawberry, yogurt and some seeds you prefer can be ingested just in a couple of minutes and yet importantly it is a real pleasure.

So, I really recommend you to change the things as to your ration if you have not succeed in it until now and make it healthier with smoothies. There are plenty of recipes and even more – you can create them yourself mixing various products. Be brave and ready for the experiments! But first, make sure that the ingredients are compatible especially if you care of your weight.

Indeed, there are no restrictions as to the content. You are free to take a fresh brewed but cooled coffee as the basis of such healthy cocktail and it will make you wake up in the morning. Try various tastes. Perhaps you should combine cold coffee and avocado. Great idea, isn’t it? I shall discuss it with my dieting expert.

But now I would like to share the simple but at the same time unexpected combination with you. Apple and banana. Surprised? Don’t you think it is good? The doubt was my first reaction too, when I read the recipe, because these fruits are hard enough. They are full of fiber making the structure very thick. But you are suggested to add milk. Here you have a perfect body and undoubted benefit for your health.

In general apple is not often included in smoothie recipes. And that is loss, I’m sure! Because it contains 12% of daily portion of fiber. Though, if you do not need it, you can reduce the thickness and just peel an apple before blending. But still you will get a vitamin boost as far as an apple is rich in vitamin C, B-complex and a lot of other goodies.

When we turn to banana again the fiber should be mentioned if you use it with a peel, but it is not a must. Still a like this ingredient for its flavor and paste-like consistency it provides. Still it offers which is good for your heart and protein which makes it useful for those who are engaged in the sport activity.

So, let’s start! Take all the ingredients listed below in the recipe, wash the fruits carefully. I prefer to peel banana and use the unpeeled but coreless apple. I usually cut them in pieces, put into my blender, and blend during half a minute. It does not matter which one is blended first. When I’ve got a smooth puree, I add milk and yogurt and blend all the components again just five seconds. To make it even more interesting it is good to pour some orange juice into a mixture – a half of a cup will be enough. Enjoy now!

Recipe Notes

As to me, I do not like the combination: milk and orange. I followed the below recipe strictly once but now I prepare this smoothie with juice but without milk. Yogurt gives me a needed silky consistency and creamy taste while the orange juice makes the smoothie thinner and spicier I would say – you know that slightly sour taste with orange zest flavor.
